I feel as though what makes us different from animals is the fact that we possess a culture. To say we are separated by genetics is an
understatement because we share much of the same DNA with rats. We are alike in many ways we have impulses such as seeking for food, mating and youth protective
instinct. What
separates us is that these impulse are considered primal to us humans and we can choose to act on it. Our culture is more
sophisticated for this reason, the ability to
guid, stop or
manifest these impulses into a web we call personality. Collectively these different
personality build our culture into a multi-
faceted entity.
