Provide innovative zoological facilities that contribute to the region’s economic vitality and demonstrate organizational excellence consistent with a commitment to outstanding service, progressive resource management and environmental leadership.
The Detroit Zoo is committed to saving and helping animals. They care about the welfare of animals and they want to provide excellence in showing outstanding living conditions for animals within their zoo.
