Blog #1 - Third Places

A third place I frequent quite a lot on campus is Liacouras Walk. While I don't have a specific location along this expansive walkway, I prefer to mix it up each day. I usually just go there with my laptop and textbooks and work on homework and enjoy the beautiful weather. This third place is very relaxing for me and helps me concentrate on my work. It is perfect because when I'm done I can head to Saxby's for a coffee or latte after my work. Occasionally I will bring my iPod when I dont have work to do and just want to sit outside in the Sun. I feel that this is a perfect example of a third place because, even if I am not working there, I will go and hang out with friends and just sit out and chat.
