Factory Farm Presentation

One thing in Nick Cooney's presentation on factory farming that I found interesting was, the impact animals agriculture has on the environment. On thing that really stood out in his power point was a picture of the "Dead Zone" in the Gulf of Mexico. I had no idea of its existence previous to today. I was astonished that there is 1 million tons of waste in that particular area of 7,700 square miles in the Gulf. It was disturbing to see that picture of all those dead fish in the water.
