Factory Farm Presentation

During his presentation about factory farming, Nick Cooney brought up several interesting points that I have never noticed before. For instance that 90-95 percent of consumed animals comes from factory farms and also that factory farms have been active in our society since 1940. Later on in his presentation he was talking about the vegetarian / vegan population. Although there are millions of vegetarians they only make up five percent of our population. The last interesting thing that Cooney touched on was that animals in factory farms produce 170 times more waste than humans and are a high contributor to global warming.
