-At 17 Philippe Petit became obsessed with Twin Towers
-Obsessed with wire-walking, the thrill, the danger
-Saw Twin Towers as something to conquer, they were "built for him"
-Months of planning to accomplish task, many helpers from different countries to put plan in motion
-All signs pointed to stop, but Petit forged through, damaging relationships along the way
-Stepped on a nail during one visit to Twin Towers, on crutches, discovered he could use crutches to his advantage even when they werent needed (archetype-trickster)
-Set up wire with many complications (it almost fell, people dropped out)
-Sucessfully walked back and forth about 8 times, "beautiful" to see Petit up in the sky between the two massive buildings
-Arrested, psych eval, no reason "why"
-Petit accomplished his goal, but lost his relationship with friends and with Anne, but didn't seem to mind. Everyone involved felt the wire walk was so "beautiful" the outcomes/reactions were understandable/expected
