On Grizzly Man
"Grizzly Man" with Timothy Treadwell and Werner Herzog happen to be a very interesting documentary that showed one mans obsession with the Alaskan grizzly bear that he put his life on the line to live with. Even though the film showed a suicidal Timothy Treadwell acting a complete fool at times. The documentary proved to be successful getting out information about the once almost extinct grizzly bear. Herzog saw the wild of Alaska as the murder filled place that it is. We learned earlier in class that to be wild is to be free and Timothy Treadwell was not letting these bears be what mother nature intended them to be by presenting them with human emotions. I feel like he scripted this documentary along with his death. He wanted to be an actor at one point in his life and this was his one ticket to everlasting fame. He filmed everything even his own attack down to his very last breath. He gave his life to the very thing that he said he loved the most. So, I believe his soul should be at peace the way he went.
