“Human/Non-Human Animals”

The difference between human and non-human animals in my opinion is brain development, and the fact that human animals are able to reason through situations. Unlike non-human animals, human animals are able to view a situation, and are thus able to chose the proper course of action that follows. Non-human animals seem to react to an event based on impulse, emotions, or instincts. It seems as though non-human animals do not act as rationally to situations as logically as human animals do, and this is what I think separates non-human from human animals.

Aren't impulse, emotions, and instinct part of what we use in our reasoning. Or dont we reason using on of these three things?
