Human/Non-Human Animals

The intrinsic difference between human animals and non- human animals is the amount of value and power they possess within the confines of the human world. In terms of capital, animals are regarded as either a source of nutrition, labor, or companionship whereas humans are seen as thinking, feeling vessels of a soul. This decidedly human take on the subject creates a hierarchy between the two, with humans choosing to take precedence over animals.
