Human/Non-Human Animals
In my opinion, humans differ greatly from non-animals on different scales. The ability of verbal communication that humans share is one of the most obvious differences. After that, I would have to say that culture and the ability to change routine are the next major differences. Although I do not want to say that animals do not have a culture per say, it is just less identified if it is not being studied. Also, being able to move around, make conscience decisions, and progress throughout time without having to go evolve into a new species, gives humans the upper hand and definitely draws the line for distinguishing us from non-human animals.
