This article is about how SaraPalin using masculine traits to become vice president. It discusses how Palin may have been chosen to appeal to women voters but her role in Washington is going to be more masculine than feminine. Palin has been aggresivly arguing against Obama and trying to seem tough. The article ends by saying that her role is not to change gender roles in Washington but to keep them the same. This relates to the class because it shows crossing gender roles and how masculinity is thought to be important in having power.
