Why I'm not a Feminist

I'm not a feminist because feminism indicates that we live in a society where men are superior and are in charge of the political, social, and economical scene. Even though feminism is a movement that started a long time ago, it is still affectng today's society as women tend to demand for more rights. During the 20th and 19th century women fought for their rights and their rightful equality to men. It is my belief that they accomplished a lot and are now considered in many ways equal to men. Admitting to be a part of the feminist movement will add to hese arguments that women are unequal to men, which is not true to the level feminism proposes it to be. Women today hold highly paid jobs, play many sports equally or better than men, and are equally exposed to any social or political movement. This all means that that they are offered the same opportunities as men, even though some of these categories are considered male dominated. Therefore, I am not a feminist, because I consider that women today are capable of achieving the same things as males.
