This video may or may not be exactly what is required for this particular assignment. However i found it to be extremly interesting because it ties directly into our classroom discussion on Alan Johnson's article What is this thing called Patriarchy? and his disscusion on how men are miysogynistic. Obama seems to make a reference that senator Palin is a pig. Senator Plain gave a speach and said "that the only difference between a pitbull and a hockey mom is lipstick" and Obama is quoted by saying "you can put lipstick on a pig, but its still a pig". To me in my view Obama is trying to discredit senator Palin simply due to the fact that she is a woman who is in the running for the second highest political position in the US.
