Human/Non-Human Animals
In my opinion, defining the difference between human and non-human animals is as easy as defining the difference between black and white. Humans are part of the Homo sapiens species, non-human animals are not. However, this does not mean that non-human animals don’t deserve rights. Animals have equal inherent value to humans and deserve some rights.

I disagree with the statement that defining human and non-human animals is as easy as black and white because all arguments about animal rights fit into the grey area. It's not as simple to define what is black and what is white because the whole reason animals should have rights is the gray area. As David Degrazia states, there are many "points on which agreement between the two sides in unlikely,(313)" showing how there is a grey area that cause people to disagree on the rights of animals versus the rights of humans.
